Hand-in-Hand

My photo. Proper novice with writing the name at the bottom-- you've got to start somewhere :)

I walked,
walked across,
crossed the gaps,
gaps and bridges,
bridges between our hearts,
Hearts broken by silence,
silence filled with pride,
pride filled with ego,
ego. must. die.

I walked,
walked to you,
you, were there.

I walked,
walked up to you,
you, you spoke to me
Me and you put our pride,
pride away and we,
we smiled.

We walked,
walked together
together into the city

-Nida Ninjabi

*imagine those uplifting feelings within, you almost feel like you are suffocating because there are so many butterflies taking flight in your stomach  from joy and chocking you as they come up your wind pipe.. yea, that's what it feels like walking together, hand-in-hand into the city.*

Rain showers

Hello Beautiful Pairs of Eyes,

Its been raining most days here and no surprise.. it rained today as well. On days like these, bring out shoes you don't care too much for in regrades of water damage! and pick shoes that may possibly become dry quickly--especially if you plan on walking into an air conditioned place soon after being drenched. Wet feet in damp shoes in a cold room is extremely uncomfortable, our feet help determine our bodies heat or cold... get ready to shiver until you get your feet dry! ( talking from experience -_-)

I think those dome shaped umbrellas are the best bet in not flipping up and around with strong winds! nor flying away or losing control of it ( unlike the huge, but sturdy umbrellas-- which i'm always battling the wind against from stealing from my hands!)

Wear windbreakers that are water resistant, so if you are in warmer climates it doesn't make you hot.

Happy puddle jumping ( and failing miserably if those puddles are street wide and inches deep!) unless you are prepared with you boots, umbrella and windbreakers!

ta ta :)

I have become a rose petal
and you are like the wind for me.
Take me for a ride....

Mundane to Enthralling

Hello Pairs of Eyes,

A mundane and rather depressing day, not wanting to pull the blanket off of my face...wanting to stay asleep so i could possible catch a far more exciting dream to past the time rather than face the reality of the boring day >.> unfortunately, my dreams were rather blah to say the least too! ( there weren't any).

My mind however started to race with a million brilliant ideas that i always fail to execute ( sound familiar?) so i decided to find some inspirational words and get my positivist juices flowing.

The inspiration you seek is already within you.
Be silent and listen. -Rumi

Open your eyes and look
into the heart of each one.
Find out what is within each one,
for that costly pearl is rarely found.- Rumi

It is never late to ask yourself “Am I ready to change my life, am I ready to change myself?”. However old we are, whatever we went through, it is always possible to reborn. If each day is a copy of the last one, what a pity! Every breath is a chance to reborn. But to reborn into a new life, you have to die before dying.

Whatever happens to you, don’t fall in despair. Even if all the doors are closed, a secret path will be there for you that no one knows. You can’t see it yet but so many paradises are at the end of this path. Be grateful! It is easy to thank after obtaining what you want, thank before having what you want.

One day your heart will take you to your Lover.
One day your soul will carry you to the Beloved.
Don't get lost in your pain, know that one day your
pain will become your cure. - Rumi

We are all the same.. all the same..
longing to find our way back..
back to the One.. back to the only One.

glamout

A pretty little outfit for a fabulous fashionista! One who wants to be out and about in town-- adding to the city lights with this black dress which has minimum work on the sleeves edges and bottom hem, providing just enough glam to this beautiful number. The accessories are kept to a minimum, so not to take away from the dresses allure and not over do the whole look... the bag is a choice, either clutch it up or hang it loose from the shoulder! It was hard to decide because either or would look fabulous! A strong statement watch when you want to flick that wrist to check the time, oh so nonchalantly. Strappy two toned heels that complement both colors in the dress, but allow enough exposure to give the elongated leg look. You are ready to take over the city!
