Marshalls & T.J. Max versus Ross

Hello Darlings,

Marshalls, T.J. Max and Ross are a chain of American department stores.

All three carry name brands as well as generic and nonname brand items.

Having shopped or browed all three, I can say hands down, Ross has been the most fulfilling in earning my American bills.

I  have located items i have liked, name brands and paid at a lower price than what i could find at Marshalls.

Further more, Ross seems to be be infested with many more people than marshalls, that can be a con while shopping. It may be due to location, as i live in an area that is run by tourists almost year round, however,. Ross has always had lines that run long.

But the time that we sacrifice in the lines it for the price we pay for our name brands.

A few more stores i would like to add to discount shopping is nostrum rack, bells and burlington. Nostrum is well put together, low priced designer items. I recommend browsing a few times, on multiple occasions before paying for something you may want.  I say this because of the fast move in and out of inventory in the store. I may come in finding a purse i like.. but do not love, the following week there may be a bag i love and the price is also one i cannot complain about.

Bells is also well put together, but often times i feel like i'm walking into a store that is dusty and beyond my times. However, i try not to let that dampen my shopping experience as on more than one occasion i have found diamonds among the coals.  I never find a rush at these locations and the place is usually well spaced and easy to maneuver through.

Burlington is often overflowing with items, the quantity of items is great and at times there is a large selection of items to choose from and i appreciate that. Often time, when i can't find a particular item i am looking for, i know i can find it at burlington, even if it is out of season in other stores and locations.

That's my observation of low-priced name brand stores.
